Global Snus tracked production through disconnected spreadsheets. Staff needed visibility into line queues and packaging specifications, while completed batches needed a reliable history and the interface needed to support English and Lithuanian.
I built a Django system around products, production lines, queue items and product history. Features include bulk imports, flexible custom fields, bilingual interfaces and live line dashboards. Completed queue items are archived automatically to preserve traceability.
The system replaces ad hoc production tracking with a structured workflow. Factory-floor staff can view queue status, and administrators can manage packaging details and evolving product attributes in one place.
